A Day

It’s two am, go to sleep again and dream a bit more. Internal alarm is set at five am; I experience RPM, (Rise, Pee, Meditate) turn on Reiki, now my head is straight. Good morning Benz good to see you again, it’s time for tea which one will it be? Jasmine Green? Oolong or Gunpowder? Oops, I’m out of Gunpowder Green (add to the list), Jasmine it be. Draw a Rune, it’s always good, now to the closet for boots. Grab celery and carrots, it’s off to feed the girls. Check their water and back to the house. Hay in the bra, wow, that itches, clean it out and go on. Now the dogs, kibble and wet, heat the wet, add the vitamins, a couple of treats, dogs are happy. Birds are squealing, bring them some seed, change the water, talk and whistle, now time for more tea. What’s for lunch? What’s for breakfast? Get it packing, you’ve an hour left. Should I draw a card? Do I need an angel? You’re good to go now go get dressed. Wait, check the weather, cold or hot, T-shirt or long sleeves. Jeans or shorts, oh my. Check the doors, one last goodbye to the birdies, the doggies. Start the truck, goodbye to the horses, close the garage, off to work. Drive, drive, drive, here I am, just in time, not late again. Takes two trips from the truck, lunch and mail. Check messages, computer on, email, to do’s, get it done. Write the newsletter, update web, social media, get it done. Post a video, post to blog, the phone is ringing, please remove me from your mailing list; I can’t take receiving any more pictures of cruelty. Yes, but this is really happening. Please remove me from your mailing list. Send an email requesting so. Hmmm, a mailing must have gone out recently. Repeat the last three or four times. A call comes in wanting a job working with horses for pay. Give the name of a nearby training facility possibly needing help. Where can I adopt a certain type of horse? We have a lot of wonderful horses but not of that breed. Please Google it. I want to donate a Stetson for your fundraiser. Yes, please. I will send you the donation form; please fill it out completely. Make a flier for an upcoming training workshop and a raffle for local charities. Post at the barn and in the volunteer bathroom. Tidy up the Visitor Center, Volunteer Orientation is this weekend. Dust, dust, dust, clean, clean, clean. Set out volunteer packets. Make sure there are plenty of chairs. Time to lock up; damn, forgot to place the horse ad. Note to self, place horse ad over the weekend. Now to check mail, wow, two pieces. Drive on home, happy sound of dogs as I open the garage door. Back, back, back. Let’s go out back. Let dogs out back then I go back inside to put on boots, go to the barn for hay to feed the girls. Life is good.
